Covered Patios, Pergolas & Motorized Power Screens

Covered patios, pergolas, cabanas, pool houses and motorized power screens that make a Texas backyard usable in July and in January.

Why homeowners want this

Central Texas has maybe two comfortable outdoor months without shade and wind protection. A structure is usually what turns a backyard from occasional-use into everyday-use.

What we do

We design and build covered patios, pergolas, cabanas and pool houses, sized and oriented for sun and prevailing wind.

Motorized power screens are one of the most requested additions to a covered patio — drop them at the push of a button to close off wind, sun, pollen and bugs, and the space is usable on days it otherwise wouldn't be.

Motorized power screens

Retractable screens that close off wind, sun and bugs at the push of a button — our most-requested upgrade to a covered patio.

Built for sun and wind

Orientation and coverage are planned around your property's actual exposure, not a standard layout.

Structural, not a kit

Engineered framing and footings, not a prefabricated pergola kit dropped on a slab.

Common questions

What are power screens, exactly?
Motorized retractable screens that lower from a covered patio's beam at the push of a button, closing off wind, sun and insects without blocking the view when they're up. They're our most-requested add-on and can usually be added to an existing covered patio, not just a new one.
What's the difference between a patio cover and a pergola?
A patio cover is fully roofed; a pergola has open or louvered slats. We'll recommend one based on how you want to use the space.
Can this attach to the house?
Most are attached; we can also build a detached structure if that suits the layout better.
